Style question: how to wear pink with red?

Tue, 11/07/2017
A while ago there were some rules in fashion, that everyone wanted to follow. One of them was a ban on the combination of some colors, for example, pink and red.
Now in 2017 the fashion community decided the rules to be ignored: the fashionistas not afraid to unite two colors, and the combination turn out to be not only attractive, but even magical. Thanks’ Balenciaga autumn-winter and Gucci spring-summer 2017 collections for showing that.

If the combination is too bright for you, as an option, start with the layout of accessories or one accent on a lips with a lipstick of contrasting color.
Here are some of our favorite looks, go for it!

№1. A more feminine image with a pink Moschino dress complemented by an ultra-fashionable neutral Cult Gaia’s bag made of wood, which is perfectly matches the summer Alexander Wang’s mules. Être Cécile’s Jeans jacket brings humor to the look.
№2. Sport style Monki dress can be combined with anything in your wardrobe, but to bring the look to a new level, we suggest combining it with Colorblock Loeffler Randall’s shoes, a small Balenciaga Mini bag and bright Ray-Ban glasses.

№3. Hyper feminine and, at the same time, very comfortable combination, gently shows color trend. You can go to work, or to a meeting, an event and even to theater in this look. In Christopher Kane’s skirt and Alexander Wang’s blouse you will attract the attention of surrounding people and lenses of the street style photographer’s cameras. Neutral Fendi bag and Valentino shoes make up the whole image perfectly frame the look without overloading it with additional colors and details.
№4. The most youthful and simple version of the combination. Base MANGO shirt allows you to qualitatively identify unusual Dolce & Gabbana jeans (you can make them yourself), while in combination with white Vans, the outfit doesn’t look strange. Red Smashbox lipstick adds brightness and unites the top and the bottom of the clothes, the Mulberry scarf can be wound around the neck, arm, or be used as a belt.
We will fade for new combinations, hoping for the continuation of trends that ruin the fashion rules.
